Summer - Why? Church

As we begin 2025, we’re going to be asking a most important question–why?. Why did the risen and reigning Lord Jesus create church? And how does the why help us know how and what we are to be his people?

Terms 1 & 2 - Matthew 13-20 and Learn the Gospel

Then in terms 1 and 2, we’ll be seeing and hearing Jesus as he shows how his kingdom is ‘right side up’ (and we’re upside down).

During term 1 our Growth Groups will be studing Matthew 13-17 . Then in term 2 we’ll be refreshed as dig deep into Learning the Gospel .

Term 3 - 2 Kings & 1 John

All good things come to an end. In 2 Kings we trace the fall of the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. But even through this, God’s promises and hope remains–there is a future!

And after this short series, we’ll listen to the first of three letters from one of Jesus’ closest eye-witnesses, the Apostle John. (We’ll probably come back to 2 and 3 John in the Summer of 2026.)
