Master and Servant | Luke 17:1-19 |
What would you do if someone paid off all your debts tomorrow? What would you owe them? In this message, we hear how in Jesus, we freely receive new life under a new master, and he demands all our service and praise. Rich and Poor | Luke 16:19-31 |
Would you be convinced if someone were to rise from the dead? In this message, we listen to another story Jesus told. A story about a rich man who loves money, not God, and who shows this by overlooking the poor. Outline A parable … of two men (vv19-21) …and the tables are turned (vv22-26) …because they wouldn’t listen. (vv27-31) Jesus has crossed the chasm …will you?

God and Money | Luke 16:1-18 |
Who do you serve? This week, we hear Jesus give a warning to religious people who love money—’no one can serve two masters.’ This is a stark warning as Jesus urges us to enter his kingdom. Lost and Found | Luke 15 |
Are you lost? Jesus told some stories to show there are two ways to be lost. You can be lost far away or lost right at home. The good news is Jesus came to show us God’s heart for all lost people—wanting to bring them from death to life. New Relationships | Colossians 3:18-4:1 |
When we have new life in Christ, all our relationships are changed by submitting to our loving Lord. New Clothes | Colossians 3:12-17 |
How does trusting in Jesus change us? The new life Jesus gives means we take off what is opposed to Christ and put on a new way of living and speaking. New Identity | Colossians 3:1-11 |
Who are you? Jesus graciously offers a new, true identity, through dying and rising with him. Outline You have died. You have been raised. Set your heart. Set your mind. Christ is all.

The Sacrificing King | 2 Samuel 21-24 |
Forgiveness always costs. As 2 Samuel ends, we visit the site of the future temple where King David makes a sacrifice to save his people from judgement. This sacrifice is a shadow of Jesus who sacrifices himself to rescue us from judgement. King David’s willingness to lay down his life for Israel, his sheep, prepares us for Jesus, the good shepherd who dies for his sheep.
