We’re excited to be running the Christianity Explored course online starting Tuesday July 14 2020 at 7:30 pm. After the success of running Life Explored via Zoom, we’re going to be running this course online too. Christianity Explored is a seven-week course which introduces us to the best news you’ve ever heard. You don’t need to have any prior Bible knowledge or religious experience. Christmas 2019
For many people, Christmas is a time of feasting and fullness. Whether it’s a baked meal with all the trimmings or steaks on the BBQ, Christmas lunch is a big event on many families calendars. An event where we often enjoy things, without too much moderation! According to the Bible, fulness is what Christmas is about. Jesus' birth fulfilled many of God’s ancient promises. Easter Services 2019
What are you searching for? Last year ‘What is Good Friday good?’ was one of the most searched questions on Google. Join us this Easter as we hear Jesus' answer to what we are searching for. Good Friday: 8:30 am || Easter Sunday: 9:30 am 11 Crown Road, Gympie During the Good Friday service, we’ll take up a collection for the PresAID Easter Appeal. This year, funds from the appeal will go towards building an amenities block in Zambia and a clean water supply for a prison in Malawi. Read more

Christmas 2018
At Christmas there are lots of things to celebrate: family, holidays, food, summer, presents.. On the first Christmas, there was the greatest reason to celebrate—the birth of ‘a saviour, who is Christ the Lord.’ This newborn child caused angels to sing and kings to tremble. This Christmas we invite you to join us to celebrate the saviour, Jesus. Carols: December 21. You’re invited to a free sausage sizzle from 5 pm, and we’ll some some great Christmas carols and hear the Christmas story together from 6 pm. Read more

Easter Services 2018
Jesus said he came that people might have ‘life, and have it to the full’ (John 10:10). He said he came to give eternal life (John 3:16), that he gives living water (John 4:10) and is the bread of life (John 6:35). Despite these claims, his own life was tragically cut short, executed through a conspiracy of religious leaders and a failure of political justice. Yet, it is through this darkness Jesus offers life. Christmas 2017
There were many strange things around the time of Jesus' birth—angelic appearances, shepherds announcing new kings, visitors from distant lands, and a maiden who became a mum. These strange things were all pointing to one momentous event—the baby in the manager who is ‘God with Us,’ the promised saviour and king—it’s strange but true. Listen to ‘Jesus’ Crucifixion: One Among Many?'
In partnership with Gympie Baptist, we recently hosted a team of students from Queensland Theological College for a week of mission and ministry training. As part of the week one of the QTC lecturers, Dr Wes Regen, spoke on the nature and purpose of crucifixion in the Roman Empire. During the lecture, he explained why, out of the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people crucified under Rome, is Jesus' crucifixion considered significant by Christians 2000 years later.
