Listening to God

When You Pray
Teach us to pray (v1) … for the greatest gift (vv2-4) …which honours God's name (vv5-8) …as he gives good gifts (vv9-13) Jesus is the answer to his own prayer Luke 3:22; Acts 2:38 So it can be answered in us! (Unfortunately there was some distortion in the recording of this sermon.)

Tragedy or Comedy
A tragic morning that turns to joy So we can find life Romans 8:11 Is your life a tragedy or a comedy

Life without Jesus
Jesus is going… to prepare a place (vv1-7) so greater works will be done (vv8-14) to send the Spirit (vv15-26) so his disciples will have peace (vv27-31) Life ‘without’ Jesus

Life in Christ's Spirit
No Condemnation (vv1-4) Because believers have God's Spirit (vv5-13) Who makes us God's children (sons) (vv14-17)

Holding Firm to the Saviour
Why do we need to be saved? (v13) How can we be saved? (vv13-14) How do we hold firm? (vv15-17)

Adoption
Why do we need to be adopted? How can we be adopted? What comes from our adoption? Calling God Father ‘What is a Christian?
